I'm Sorry I'm LateSir, I'm sorry I came in late
This was truly a change of fate
My shirt was caught on my front yard gate
Missing my bus half-past eight
I came to the school as the bell's rang begin
As I ran through the halls, I was almost to class when
The final bell tolled, I just couldn't win
I swear this'll happen never again
Personal MetaphorsAnimal - Rabbit
I hide in my hole escaping the world outside. My ultra sensitive ears warn me of the dangers I may encounter if I leave my sanctuary.
Color - Blue
I deeply care about those whom I love. I am a calm person waiting to sooth the emotions of a friend. Looking passed all the negatives of a person, I see mainly good.
Autumn - When the leaves turn color and everything seems to change right before your eyes. I was once a wall flower, but the color of my petals seemed to change as I found my true self.
Spring - when the flowers appear and there is beauty all over, a sensation of calmness and sanctuary. Even when I go through a storm, I'll always know there will be beauty and happiness in the end.
Forgiveness - No matter how angry I become towards a person I almost always have the ability to forgive. It may sound like a blessing, but it is a curse. One that ends with me hurting more and more, over and over again.
Friends Forever? It dangles around my neck, choking the last bit of hope I had for being with the one I once loved. The half-heart shape only reminds me of my heart that "he" had broken more than once, hurting more and more each time. The loss of it's silver color is a sign of the hatred of him taking over my sanity. Why do I even bother to wear it? Why do I keep it so preciously against my chest? It only brings me pain whenever I see it. This burden only reminds me of my phantom pain that still hurts today, of how much of a jerk he was and still is. I wear this metallic symbol of betrayal only to remind me of the carelessness of men.
What People Might Think Of MeDark hair sheilds her eyes from the world she knows too well. Long sleeves cover the pain she has endured. She sits there, virtually invisible, watching those with "perfect" lives walk right by her. It's not that they don't notice her, but more of they fear the pain they see when she's there.
No Hesitation"You wouldn't understand!"
"Maybe I would if you just explained!" mother yelled.
I slammed the door behind me as I bolted into my room. "She wouldn't understand," I bawled to myself, my head buried into my pillow, "she doesn't know what I'm going through."
"Where is it?" I said digging through the drawer of my night stand. I pulled out a razor, "No hesitation this time." I pushed against my skin and made a deep cut into my wrist. I screamed into my pillow from the pain.
No one cared for me... Why should I?
Lost MemoriesI sit here on the mantel above the fireplace. I share memories of long lost loves. Tears fill the old man's eyes as he stares at me, blurring the vision he has left behind his glasses. I cry along with him though I show no tears in the eyes that look back at him; the eyes of his beloved. This memory is of happy times, not sadness, just pure joy of togetherness. Now this man is alone; his beloved taken from him. They grew old together; how could he live without her? He won't have to, lying on his death bed.
SighShe sees him from across the room Every girl is after him, but she swears to herself that she is the one that's going to have him. She takes in a long, slow, deep breath, clearing her mind. He starts walking her way. She releases the trapped air in her lungs. His black silk bangs covers one eye, spikes in the back. Every girl's dream guy - or at least she liked to believe - wants to take to her!
"Hey!" he exclaims.
She's about to respond, when he walks right past her.
BreathlessTears fill her eyes blurring her vision. Her black, silk hair falls in front of her face.
"No one cares about me, why should I?" She sits in her dark room of only black and red.
Frantically searching for something, she finds a razor.
She presses it against her fragile skin. Blood drips as she slides the razor across her vain. Goosebumps crawl upon her body, and goes completely numb. Blood flows from her neck.
